In spring the deciduous forest floor is covered wall-to-wall with a carpet of hepaticas, wood anemones, cowslips and lilies of the valley. The air is full of floral scents and the intense song of thrushes. The flower-strewn grounds, surrounded by deciduous and coniferous forest, are the work of people. To this day, nature here is protected in keeping with time-honoured traditions. Cultural history and the flowery meadows constitute the park’s foremost values.
